The Type of Bra You Need

Hey Lovelies,

While we are still in the new year, new me spirit it is time to address the skeleton in the closet. No, seriously. I’m talking about the lingerie that has served its time and must now be relegated to the recycle pile. Yes, even your favorite bra that you’ve had for over five years and you “think” still does the job!

Now that that’s out of the way. Its time to open up that closet to change, but a lot of things have happened in the past decade, which means the lingerie world has made plenty of strides in the right and helpful direction. Many of which, have to do with bras and how much more they can help you feel comfortable.

We all know that bra’s as aesthetically pleasing as they can be are not always the most comfortable pieces of lingerie to wear. In light of the new year and decade, I’m going to be introducing you to 3 types of bras that are simply a must-have going into the new decade and just why they are.

  • Plunge Bra: as modern society continues to evolve, we become more open and expressive with our sexuality. This means lower cuts and open backs. One of the bigger issues, especially for women with bigger bust sizes that need support, is how easy it is to see the front of the bra in a lower cleavage cut. While that is an aesthetic to some, it can certainly ruin the look for most of us. Plunge bras are dipped in the front, making for a braless, and elegant look when wearing deeper cuts.
  • Wireless Bra: A great stride in the last decade certainly has to be attributed to the introduction of the wireless bra. No more backaches and weird markings. These bras offer style and comfort.
  • T-shirt Bra: a tale as old as time. Some classics truly never die. The t-shirt bra is and will probably always be a staple in the closet. With thin material and soft finishes, this bra is practically invisible beneath clothes with soft t-shirt material-hence, the name.

Here are three of our best sellers from each category. Kiss by Lauma ,Victoria by Lisca and T-shirt Bra by Dominique.
