Introducing lightweight luxury from Kinga lingerie

Introducing lightweight luxury from Kinga lingerie

At Lavinia, we’re constantly on the lookout for European lingerie brands to add to the site, and this week we’re thrilled to introduce Kinga to you.

If you thought that France was the center of the lingerie industry then you may have to think again, because Poland has become something of a lingerie powerhouse. Kinga is based in Biyalistock in the north east of the country, which is home to a number of popular lingerie brands, including Gorteks. In the business since 1994, Kinga is known for producing lingerie with an emphasis on quality and technical expertise; everything is made in Poland and features beautiful fabrics such as Italian lace. Full figure and large cup sizes are well represented, with the selection at Lavinia going up to an I cup and a 46 back.

What to expect from this feminine brand? Standouts include the Beauty bra, $59, and thong, $29. In delicate tulle and lace, the set comes in a striking beige and black colorway that looks thoroughly modern. Just arrived on the site, meanwhile, is Kinga’s aptly-named Volcano bra, $42. A demi cup bra in lace and tulle, the Volcano bra features ombré cups that shade from orange to hot pink and is completed with black edging and straps for a dramatic contrast. Pair with the matching tanga, $19, for a sizzling set.

Of course, Kinga has a softer side, too. Silver thread adds a subtle glimmer to the feminine Moonstone balcony bra in dusky blue, while the feminine Nubi lace bra comes in a pretty shade of cornflower.

And if you’re looking for the ultimate in comfortable everyday lingerie, then Kinga has you covered. Just in this week is the Sabine spacer bra, $49. The bra is made from innovative 3-D spacer fabric, which gives you all the benefits of a t-shirt bra—smooth, molded cups; a no-show look under clothes—with an altogether lighter, more breathable feel. With cups made from three layers of tulle, the bra is lightweight but supportive: an unbeatable combination.
