2 Things Not To Do When Buying Lingerie
Shopping for lingerie can be a fun anxiety reducing exercise, only made better by the quick and effortless email alert we get moments later, letting us know that the things we purchased will or are on their way. However, this is not the same experience for everyone, in fact, a lot of our most active buyers struggle with making the right purchase, which can turn a stress-free activity into a trip down worry lane. That is why we at Lavinia Lingerie are doing our best to make sure that not only is your shopping experience a great one but also, guarantee that your order is fulfilled properly.
Now, there are different ways to accomplish that and that is why we offer many different helpful tips to make sure you get the one that is just right. Last time we went through the little tips to consider when buying different kinds of lingerie items. Today we will explore 2 common but not so obvious mistakes we make when shopping for lingerie.
Shopping for your assumed weight. One common mistake people make is assuming their weight always translates to size. I'll give you an example; in my senior year of high school, I weighed 15 pounds lighter than the following year in college. However, I remained the same size, in fact, there was a brief period when I went down a size in my top. That means just because you gained or lost weight does not mean your clothing size will automatically change or even accurately represent the lost weight. Therefore, I always recommend knowing your actual lingerie size before shopping.
Shopping for an occasion. Lingerie is one of those things that we quickly get carried away with when shopping. Many of us end up buying items/sets with a very specific occasion in mind because we see them as special occasion wear only. While this may suit some people fine, for most of us, its both an economical and practical mistake. When we shop with an occasion in mind, we forget to consider things like longevity and practicality. We fail to ask ourselves, “after that occasion, what else can I do with it?” Consider buying in color or style themes instead, that way the consideration of style and practicality is never abandoned.
